There are years when history moves loudly, announcing itself with explosions, elections and images that burn themselves into collective memory. And then there are years when something far more dangerous happens at the same time, quietly, bureaucratically, politely, disguised as opinion, reframed as nuance, and laundered through the language of culture. 2025 was both.
