A blood libel is one of history’s oldest and most dangerous antisemitic lies - the false claim that Jews murder non-Jews, often children, to use their blood in religious rituals. The myth began in medieval Europe, leading to centuries of persecution, massacres, and expulsions. Today, blood libels resurface in new forms - from claims that Israel harvests organs to other conspiracy theories painting Jews as secretly evil. Each one continues the same hateful idea: that Jews are uniquely wicked or deceitful.
